Mistissini, Qc – September 9, 2025 – Members of the Eeyou Eenou Police Force of the Mistissini detachment intercepted a vehicle on September 7, 2025, after receiving information from the public.
Upon arrival, officers seized alcohol from the vehicle that was visible in plain sight. A total of 18 bottles of 26 oz of 40% alc/vol was seized at an approximate street value of $1080.
We would like to remind community members and residents that EEPF works with local by-laws. Residents that do not respect their local by-laws will be fined by way of receiving a ticket or by summons to court.
