FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chisasibi, Qc – September 8, 2025 – Members of the Eeyou Eenou Police Force of the Chisasibi detachment along with officers of the Sûreté du Québec executed search warrants at a residential address and a vehicle in Chisasibi on Saturday, September 6th, 2025.

The search warrants were obtained as a result from a drug trafficking investigation.

Following the search, our officers located and seized 30 grams of white powdery substance suspected to be cocaine and $2000 in Canadian currency consistent with drug trafficking.

Three (3) individuals, two females and one male were arrested in this operation. One female was released from police custody and promise to appear with a future court date.

Aliyah Spence (26) of Kitigan Zibi (Maniwaki, Qc) was arrested and is facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. Robert Snowboy (51) was arrested for an Active Arrest Warrant.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is of $9,500.
