Chisasibi, Qc – November 19, 2025 – From Eeyou Eenou Police Force’s Regional Headquarters, EEPF wishes to inform community members that at 8 a.m. this morning, search warrants were executed simultaneously in the communities of Waswanipi, Ouje-Bougoumou and its surrounding municipalities of Chapais and Lebel-sur-Quevillon. This is due to an ongoing drug-related operations and investigations led by EEPF and our Drug Intelligence Unit.
Please be assured that these operations are part of our continued efforts to keep our communities safe. We take the security and well-being of all Eeyouch/Eenouch very seriously, and we remain committed to disrupting illegal drug activity and protecting our youth, families and Elders.
